Lighting Up a Warm Home

On June 19, 2025, under bright sunshine and amidst waves of compassion, Mr. Rabi Guo, founder of SUNFREE, accompanied by leaders from the Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai Campus, and Wuyi University, visited the Jiangmen Social Welfare Home. Guided by the welfare home staff, they toured the facilities and gained a deeper understanding of the living environment and needs. During this visit, SUNFREE formally donated 32 high-performance integrated solar street lights to the Jiangmen Social Welfare Home, using the light of technology to add warmth and safety to this special 'home.'

Focusing on Needs, Delivering Care

The Jiangmen Social Welfare Home serves as a sanctuary and haven for many seniors to enjoy their later years and for orphans to grow up healthily. Every plant, brick, and tile embodies society's care. However, as the facility's functions expand and services deepen, ensuring sufficient, stable, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly nighttime lighting has become crucial for enhancing residents' quality of life and sense of security. This lighting is essential for safe paths for seniors at night, clear visibility around children's play areas, and convenient routes for staff during late-night patrols.

SUNFREE consistently directs its attention to places in need of light, particularly focusing on 'the elderly and children' – the two most vulnerable groups requiring care within social welfare. This donation stems from a profound understanding of this core need at the welfare home. It aims to leverage the company's expertise and reliable products in solar lighting to tangibly solve practical problems, transforming technological power into a guardian of peace.

Technology Empowering, Warming Hearts

The solar street lights donated by SUNFREE embody the company's core technology in green energy applications and its relentless pursuit of quality. They efficiently harness solar power, achieving zero electricity costs and intelligent light control, providing the welfare home with continuous and stable nighttime illumination. After installation, pathways, corridors, and activity areas previously prone to insufficient lighting are now bathed in soft, bright light. This not only significantly enhances nighttime safety and reduces potential risks but also provides reliable assurance for seniors taking evening strolls, staff patrols, and the surroundings of children's play areas. The bright light illuminates paths and, more importantly, conveys society's deep care, warming the hearts of every resident and staff member within the home.

University-Enterprise Unity, Sharing Responsibility

A special aspect of this donation event was the joint participation of leaders from the Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai Campus, and Wuyi University. This was more than just a material contribution; it was a vivid demonstration of university-enterprise collaboration in jointly undertaking social responsibility. Universities, as vital forces in talent cultivation and social service, joining hands with enterprises to engage with welfare institutions, reflects a high degree of consensus and collaborative effort across society towards public welfare.

SUNFREE founder Rabi Guo stated during the event: 'Caring for social welfare, especially safeguarding the well-being of 'the elderly and children,' is our shared responsibility. SUNFREE is deeply honored to contribute and use our technology to create a safer and more comfortable environment for the welfare home. Partnering with universities makes this care even more powerful.'
